This diploma thesis focus on the funding options of the investment activities of municipalities. This thesis interprets public administration of Slovak republic, funding options of municipalities in Slovakia and grant policy of the European Union and Slovak republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyse a specific project, ways of funding and an offer of suggestion for a possible change of funding.

Possibilities of investment financing are analysed with focus on the Structural funds of the European Union. The most effective way of investment financing is chosen with the help of cost benefit analysis and therefore own suggestions and recommendations are formulated.

The goal of the thesis is to consider various ways how to finance education of personal staff of company Best Buy Investments a.s. with the focus on possibilities of financing project from the European Union funds. In the theoretical part are characterized individual forms of financing from source of the European Union and the practical part is attended to the company and possibility of financing from the EU. On the grounds of SWOT analyses are identified the project and the ways of its implementation considering financing from the European Union funds.

The aim of this work is to understand the preparation of projects financed from EU structural funds. The main objective is to create a project that will be able to apply for financial support from the EU. Concretely it is the project of Reconstruction and completion of Municipal museum Česka Trebova. The thoretical part focuses on goals and instruments of regional policy of European Union in period 2007 – 2013. The goal of practical part is to describe how to fill in the application form.

My graduation theses is analyzing questions of project funding from EU financial resources, cofinancing projects form commercial banks products and is also dealing with process of applying of financial resources from EU funds. First part is dealing with theoretical informations connected to EU funds. Main part is describing and analyzing single possibilities of financing projects form EU funds. This part is describing commercial banks products, which can be used to cofinancing of projects as well. In final part am trying to create transparent and practical guide book for entrepreneur through EU funds.

Evaluation of Economic Efficiency of Investment Project

This thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency of the planned investments in the form of buying a laser cutting machine in a middle sized enterprises engaged in manufacturing industry. There are analyzed the possibilities of financing the investment with a focus on subsidies from EU structural funds. Based on the results of methods of the evaluation of economic efficiency of investment is decided on the implementation and drafted their own proposals and recommendations.

Intention of the Bachelorś thesis is to contribute to understanding problems of preparing projects financed by Structural Funds of European Union. The main aim of this work is to create a project able to gain financial resources from European Union. Concretely it is the project of building-up of boarding house Pod zámkem Lednice. The theoretical part targets single aims and instruments of regional policy of European Union in 2007 - 2013 period and single basic activities definition which has to take place within project preparation and proceeding.

This bachelor thesis deals with preparation of projects funded by the European Union. It helps to clarify the issue. Specifically, it introduces a operational program Education for competitiveness. Basic information about the European Union and the preparation of the project are presented in the theoretical part. The practical part is introducing association Rezekvítek and the project application processed a particular project.
